Business Immigration

Global Business Mobility

The Global Business Mobility (GBM) routes act as an umbrella for five distinct visa categories designed to facilitate the temporary transfer of overseas business personnel to the UK for specific business purposes, such as establishing a branch, fulfilling a contract, or transferring senior managers.

Regulatory Notice: Decision Making & Outcomes

Immigration outcomes are determined by the Home Office (UKVI) based on the specific facts of each case. Our role is to provide expert legal guidance and robust representation to maximise the prospects of success. Decisions involve the exercise of discretion by the Secretary of State, and applications are assessed against the Immigration Rules in force at the time.

GBM routes – overview

UK Expansion workers establish new branches. Service Suppliers fulfill overseas contracts. Maximum stay periods vary by route.

Consider Alternative Routes

Depending on your circumstances, other immigration routes may be more suitable. The Skilled Worker route offers a longer-term pathway, while the Innovator Founder route suits entrepreneurs establishing new businesses.
